On Tuesday, 4 December 2018, in the morning at 9:30, in Kaunas, on Linkuvos street near No. 25, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 330 D, a Volkswagen LT 28 and a Volvo V70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
