On Thursday, 6 December 2018, in the morning at 8:50, in Plungės district municipality, Skurvydų village, on Paplatelės street near No. 23, a head-on collision occurred. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Citroen C3 (5 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
