On Monday, 10 December 2018, in the afternoon at 11:30, in Plungės district municipality, on Kalniškių street, at the junction with Žaltakalnio street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna and an Audi A4 WW. Audi S4. Two people were injured — a 55-year-old passenger of the Audi (hospitalized) and a 18-year-old passenger of the Renault (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
