On Monday, 10 December 2018, in the evening at 20:20, in Kaunas, on Geležinio Vilko street near No. 1A, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a Mercedes-Benz E270 CDI hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 28-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (22 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
