On Saturday, 15 December 2018, in the afternoon at 12:18, in Kaunas, on A. Juozapavičiaus pr., at the junction with Liepojos street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel and a Mercedes-Benz R350. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
