On Friday, 21 December 2018, in the afternoon at 13:57, in Vilnius, on Žalgirio street near No. 90, a BMW 525 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the BMW (17 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered.
