On Friday, 21 December 2018, in the morning at around 10:00, in Vilnius, on Konstitucijos pr. near No. 29, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Avensis and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Toyota Avensis (16 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
