On Sunday, 23 December 2018, in the evening at 20:55, in Tauragės district municipality, on Aerodromo street, a collision with a reversing vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Renault, who committed other traffic rule violations. He refused a sobriety test and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
