On Monday, 24 December 2018, in the morning at 9:34, in Vilnius, on Įsruties street near No. 22, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-5 and a Ford. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 83-year-old driver of the Saab (42 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
