On Tuesday, 1 January 2019, at night at 1:25, in Vilnius, on Žirmūnų street near No. 103, a BMW hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW (3 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
