On Thursday, 3 January 2019, in the morning at 7:44, in Panevėžio district municipality, Dembavos village, on Melioratorių street near No. 3, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault registered in Latvia, a BMW, a BMW and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Renault (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, a strong wind was blowing, it was snowing, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
