On Tuesday, 15 January 2019, in the morning at 6:20, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 302.50), a Setra hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Setra (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
