On Monday, 21 January 2019, at night at 1:55, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 65.30), a Citroen Xsara ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Citroen (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
