On Tuesday, 29 January 2019, in the afternoon at 15:43, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Kėdainiai–Šėta–Ukmergė national road (kilometre 10.50), an Opel Omega ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
