Drunk, unlicensed Mazda driver in crash with Chrysler on Gedimino g., Radviliškis
On Monday, 4 February 2019, in the morning at 7:20, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Gedimino street near No. 31, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 626 and a Chrysler Sebring. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (1.28‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
