On Saturday, 9 February 2019, at night at 1:03, in Vilnius, on Galvės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW (9 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.06‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
