On Wednesday, 13 February 2019, in the evening at 17:05, in Vilnius, on Šventaragio street near No. 4, a Fiat 500 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 66-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Fiat (11 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was wet.
