On Tuesday, 19 February 2019, in the evening at 20:16, in Panevėžys, on Klaipėdos street, at the junction with Nemuno street, a Citroen C5 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 76-year-old driver of the Citroen (26 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
