On Wednesday, 6 March 2019, in the evening at 20:19, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Vilnius–Minskas (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 8.30), an Audi 100 Avant hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person died — a 62-year-old pedestrian. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Audi (19 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
