On Friday, 15 March 2019, in the evening at 18:15, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr., at the junction with A. Baranausko street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Focus and a Skoda 14 TR. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Ford (28 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
