On Saturday, 6 April 2019, in the afternoon at 15:10, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 15), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a BMW 3ER Reihe. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Opel (27 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
