On Sunday, 7 April 2019, at night at 3:42, in Kaunas, on Jonavos street, at the junction with Jurbarko street, a BMW hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. Two people were injured — a 31-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient) and a 29-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
