On Thursday, 18 April 2019, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kaunas, on Juodelynės street near No. 5, at the junction with Palaukės tak., a Skoda Fabia hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. Two people were injured — a 33-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient) and a 6-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Skoda (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
