On Sunday, 5 May 2019, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Pakruojo district municipality, on the Joniškis–Žeimelis–Pasvalys national road (kilometre 26.53), a Toyota Corolla Verso rolled over. Three people were injured — the 74-year-old driver of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient), a 72-year-old passenger of the Toyota (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 72-year-old passenger of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 74-year-old driver of the Toyota (24 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
