On Tuesday, 14 May 2019, in the evening at 19:30, in Kauno city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 102.13), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Porsche Panamera 4S registered in Russia, a Schmitz S01 and a DAF FT XF105. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Porsche (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
