On Tuesday, 21 May 2019, in the afternoon at 13:30, in Tauragės district municipality, Taurų village, on Tilžės pl. near No. 46, at the junction with Alėjos street, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane Scenic and a Harley Davidson. Two people were injured — the 44-year-old driver of the Harley Davidson (treated as an outpatient) and a 45-year-old passenger of the Harley Davidson (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Renault (4 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
