On Friday, 24 May 2019, in the morning at 10:46, in Panevėžys, on Vasario 16-osios street, at the junction with Tulpių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Toyota Corolla Verso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
