On Friday, 24 May 2019, in the afternoon at 11:34, in Pakruojo district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Pakruojis–Pasvalys national road (kilometre 29.10), a Ford Mondeo ran off the road. One person was injured — the 68-year-old driver of the Ford (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He fled the scene.
