On Monday, 27 May 2019, in the evening at around 17:00, in Šiauliai, on Architektų street, at the junction with Jono Jablonskio street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
