On Saturday, 1 June 2019, in the afternoon at 13:15, in Kaunas, on P. Kalpoko street near No. 1, at the junction with Zanavykų street, at a pedestrian crossing, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 6 and a bicycle. One person was injured — a 7-year-old cyclist (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 74-year-old driver of the Mazda (40 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. Both drivers were sober.
