On Monday, 3 June 2019, in the evening at 18:25, in Panevėžys, on Aukštaičių street near No. 2, an Opel Signum hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 8-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Opel (3 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties.
