Unlicensed motorcyclist in crash with Suzuki motorcycle at Raudondvario pl. and Vakarinis aplinkl., Kaunas

On Friday, 7 June 2019, in the afternoon at 13:12, in Kaunas, on Raudondvario pl., at the junction with Vakarinis aplinkl., a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a Gilera and a Suzuki VZR 1800. One person was injured — the 33-year-old driver of the Suzuki (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Gilera, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
