On Tuesday, 18 June 2019, in the evening at 18:50, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on Kuršlaukio street near No. 4, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Subaru Forester registered in Sweden and a Mazda 626. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Subaru, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
