On Wednesday, 19 June 2019, in the afternoon at 16:20, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 196, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 3ER Reihe and an Opel. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
