On Friday, 29 March 2019, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Klaipėda, on Tilžės street near No. 38, in a roadworks zone, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Tiida and a Toyota Prius. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 83-year-old driver of the Nissan (30 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
