On Monday, 8 July 2019, at night at around 23:00, in Telšių district municipality, on Luokės street near No. 70, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 TDS and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
