On Sunday, 28 July 2019, at night at 0:45, in Pakruojo district municipality, Klovainių town, on Pakruojo g. near No. 14, a Chrysler Voyager hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Chrysler, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.94‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
