On Wednesday, 7 August 2019, in the evening at 18:19, in Marijampolės municipality, on Kauno street near No. 76, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW Serie 5, a Daewoo Leganza and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.71‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
