On Tuesday, 16 July 2019, in the afternoon at 12:10, in Tauragės district municipality, on Vytauto street, at the junction with K. Jauniaus street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 Avant and a Renault Laguna. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 70-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
