On Monday, 12 August 2019, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr. near No. 28, an Evobus hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 60-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by a 60-year-old pedestrian, who was walking on the carriageway where prohibited. He was drunk (2.41‰ blood alcohol). The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
