Lexus RX and DAF truck crash on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Wednesday, 14 August 2019, in the evening at 17:10, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 95.80), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Lexus RX 350 and a DAF. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Lexus (35 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
