On Wednesday, 14 August 2019, in the evening at 18:45, in Vilnius, on Baltosios Vokės street, at the junction with Kadugių street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Octavia and a Lexus IS250. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Skoda, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
