On Friday, 16 August 2019, at night at 2:08, in Vilnius, on L. Giros street near No. 100, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Meriva and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.32‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
