Drunk Mazda driver runs off the road on the Betygala–Ilgižiai–Krakės–Bokštai road
On Monday, 19 August 2019, in the afternoon at 15:15, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Betygala–Ilgižiai–Krakės–Bokštai regional road (kilometre 27.20), a Mazda Premacy ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.84‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
