On Friday, 23 August 2019, in the evening at 20:25, in Vilnius, on Šiltnamių street near No. 38, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 323 and an Audi 100 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Mazda, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
