On Wednesday, 28 August 2019, in the evening at 17:01, in Vilnius, on Filaretų street near No. 42, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 520I and an Audi 80 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
