On Sunday, 1 September 2019, in the evening at 18:49, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on J. Basanavičiaus street, at the junction with Birutės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 323 and an Audi 80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
