On Sunday, 1 September 2019, in the afternoon at 15:45, in Šakių district municipality, Miliškių village, on the Kaunas–Zapyškis–Šakiai national road (kilometre 55.80), a Ford Focus rolled over. Two people were injured — the 18-year-old driver of the Ford (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 18-year-old passenger of the Ford (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Ford (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
