On Wednesday, 11 September 2019, in the afternoon at 12:45, in Kaunas, on P. Lukšio street near No. 60, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 75-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by a cyclist, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
