On Saturday, 28 September 2019, at night at 1:15, in Kauno district municipality, Dievogalos village, on Parko street near No. 1B, a BMW hit an obstacle. One person was injured — a 23-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.88‰ blood alcohol). A 23-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (2.09‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
